    The story started with two brothers ‘adventure in 1997, that year Mr. Bu (our current president) and his little brother Hongwei (our current VP) came to Shanghai for their gold rush dream, they opened a small shop selling wooden doors and floors to the people who wanted to renovate their old apartments with new materials.

    Benefit from China economic reform, Bu Brothers’ enterprise has worked its way up from humble beginnings to become the market leader in passed 20 years, now Arte Mundi is one of the biggest flooring supplier in China offering One-Stop Service to millions consumers based on 600 brand stores nationwide. Our sales channels cover from retails to projects.

    “Arte Mundi”, means “Art World” in Latin Language, flooring can not be simply described as “building material”, it can show more vivid styles through using innovative ideas of art, culture and fashion, which is what Arte Mundi is aiming all the time.

    Arte Mundi, professional supplier of floor covering materials in China, with more than 15 years manufacturing experience, we offer full range of floorings from hard surface floors (engineered wood and laminate flooring) to resilient surface floors (LVT and SPC rigid core vinyl flooring ).

    We’re headquartered in Shanghai and own several production bases in North and East of China. The annual productivity of wooden floor is 5 million square meters and vinyl floor is 7 million square meters.

    Arte Mundi works closely with distributors, architects and designers home and abroad, we completed a series of featured projects: Shanghai Amman Hotel, Dubai Grand Hyatt Hotel, Mandarin Oriental Jumeira Dubai Hotel and UAE National Club etc.

    1997

    1997——Arte Mundi team entered flooring industry.

    2000

    Opened the first flagship store in Red Star Macalline, China biggest home center(currently one of Arte Mundi shareholders). National distribution channel construction began and continued in next years till today.

    2002

    "Arte Mundi" Brand was created and registered.

    2005

    Acquired a factory to start manufacture of engineered wood flooring in Shanghai. Transform of business model.

    2007

    Strategy of Common Development in both North and South China Market. 80 stores that year.

    2010

    Arte Mundi became franchised enterprise of Shanghai Expo offering interior products to Expo and got “Special Contribution Award”.

    2011

    Milestone on the way of capital development: successfully introduced strategic capitals—E-House (China) and Jiuding Capital, preparing for IPO; In the same year Arte Mundi worked with global luxury brand Swarovski for R & D of crystal elements floor.

    2012

    Arte Mundi got "High-Tech Enterprise" Award.

    2013

    300 stores nationwide; project business was booming; started exporting to USA market.

    2014

    New Headquarter, New Move, New Start.

    2015

    Arte Mundi became “Golden Sponsor” of 2015 Milan Expo.

    2016

    Arte Mundi established European Representative Office in Bologna for exploring self-owned brand development in overseas market. Arte Mundi flooring products entered more than 3000 dealer stores of USA the same year.

    2017

    Arte Mundi built close cooperations with China Top 50 Real Estate Developers; Retail business covered 200 China cities; Offered flooring solutions to Grand Hyatt Dubai Hotel.

    2018 to Now

    Strategic cooperations with China Academy of Art, Stile and Bona; Project completion of Grand Hyatt Dubai Hotel, Mandarin Oriental Dubai Hotel and UAE National Club; 600 stores nationwide; New investments on more production bases.

    Swarovski: In 2011 Arte Mundi became the only one flooring brand among more than 120 Swarovski global partners. Arte Mundi “Crystal Elements Floor” was on the market in 2014. In June 2015, as important strategic partner, Arte Mundi created Runway with Crystal Elements Floor for Swarovski 120 Years Anniversary Shanghai Show.

    2015 Milan Expo: In 2015, Arte Mundi became “Golden Sponsor” of Milan Expo China Enterprises Hall.

    In 2017, Arte Mundi started cooperation with Italian reputable brand-Stile, who was well-known as High-End Tailor Made Flooring in Europe. Arte Mundi introduced Stile products to China consumers who like wooden flooring with Italian Culture Design.
